Daniel Brouns

Daniel Brouns grew up in Turlock, a mid-sized farm town in the central valley of California. In 2009, Brouns left Turlock to pursue a career in audio engineering and eventually moved to Los Angeles in 2013. He landed his dream job as a mastering engineer in 2014, but after years of working there (and after years of therapy) Brouns realized that he wanted to make music himself, something he wanted to do since he was a child. In 2017 he self released his EP “Boy’s Normal” which documents the death of his mom in 2015 and the aftermath. Soon after the release, Daniel met Jake Tittle at a house show. Jake listened to the EP and wanted to re-release it on his label Anxiety Blanket Records, which happened in 2019.
